I've mentioned La Compagnie before. They've been offering all-Business Class service between Newark and Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport since summer of 2014 and they're now launching Newark to London Luton service 5x per week. The flight times are nice: leave Newark at 10:20PM and arrive London 10:30am, leave London 5:45pm and arrive Newark at 9:00PM They've been consistently offering amazing deals ($1000 round trip to London right now!), so I'm still very interested in trying them out. The big thing is trying to avoid all of the potential downsides: If anything goes wrong with the plane, they don't have any other planes to put you on, so no booking them when I'm on a tight schedule.  You don't earn any miles (which is fine by me since I'm not chasing status)  I hate Newark . Back in June I mentioned La Compagnie  – an all-Business Class airline brought to you by the same folks who founded Openskies . Six months later, they're still in business with their one Newark - Paris route. They've just announced a new route to London  (the press release makes it sound like it'll be to Gatwick). I've not flown them before, but I did fly Openskies back when it was an all-Business Class airline and I liked it. The big pro with these flights is that they give me cheap access to the one thing I want most: a seat I can comfortably sleep in . In La Compagnie's case, $2600 for TWO roundtrip Business Class tickets is unheard of. It's cheaper than many big airlines' economy tickets. They also offer pre-departure lounge access and, because they're french, the onboard liquor won't be a disappointment :) There are, of course, downsides. I mentioned a while back that Skymark was going to start a all premium seat flight between Tokyo and NYC and apparently now " La Compagnie " is going to venture back into the space where so many others have failed (or retreated in BA/OpenSkies case). Since these ventures seem to sprout like mushrooms after rain when mainstream carrier profit margins get too big, I think it's a safe bet this will probably work out ok until the next economic downturn or massive oil price hike. From the sounds of things, it's going to be €1000-ish round trip from Newark to Charles De Gaulle for angled lie-flat seats and a fairly crummy staff-to-customer ratio.
